Made of 100% wool, this sweater is handwash only, but extremely soft! It has blue, green, and white varigations throughout and reminds me of a Monet painting.. Sized for 12-18 months, it has an all-over rib pattern for the back and sleeves. The front has a center panel of mock cables and textured stitches, with the rib pattern framing it on either side. There is a 3-button placket at the back neck, for ease in dressing that special little one. The buttons are mock shell, and blend into the colors of the sweater becoming nearly invisible. This Heirloom Quality sweater is priced at $45.00
This set is newborn sized, made of 70% merino wool 30% angora and is handwash only. It was entered in Michigan Fiber Fest's Fiber Arts competition in 2000, and won second place in the accessories division. Both the mitts and booties have drawstrings at the wrist/ankle to make sure they cannot slip off those tiny baby hands and feet. This Heirloom set is priced at $30.00
While this lovely hat is not made of my handspun, it is handwash only. With 80% Cashmere and 20% silk, it's the ultimate in luxury for that special baby in your life. The pattern is from Marilyn Mebach of Rabbit Tree Farm, the yarn is from Cashmere America. The size is approximately for 18-24 months, and is about the color of cinnamon-sugar. The side view is pictured above, with the back detail shown below. Priced at $35.00, it's sure to be treasured for generations to come.
